Adventure-based Life Coaching

Coaching and mentorship are some of my biggest passions in life. Connecting with nature and relentlessly pursuing its unyielding treasures, has a significant effect on the quality of one's life. As a Life Coach, I believe in connecting people to nature in fun and creative ways as we build lasting relationships, to help them realize and achieve their goals, through the diligent practice of active listening and asking powerful questions. We will connect using a customized schedule, during which we will discuss whatever issues are coming up in your life. I will  also help you actualize solutions and methods of accountability.  Initial consultation is free, and I offer 3 session packages for $250.00 or single sessions for $100.00. If your needs dictate, we can customize a coaching arrangement that works best for you. Embrace a spirit of discovery and book your consultation today!

8 Benefits of Having a Life Coach

The following list is by no means exhaustive but over the years we have worked with enough coaches to see the patterns of what really matters.  Whilst every client will have their unique needs, and whilst every coach will have their unique style and approach, the following 8 benefits of having a life coach show up time and again.

Let’s look at them now.

1 – Achieve Greater Clarity Around Your Purpose and Passions

A key benefit of having a coach is in helping you gain a better understanding of who you are, identify your skills and talents, and discover your life’s meaning and purpose. Life coaches employ open, catalytic questions and deep listening to help you clarify your desires and the steps needed to achieve them.

2 – Tackle Specific Problems More Effectively

Coaching sessions can focus on specific goals or problems. A life coach can assist you in identifying obstacles or barriers that might be preventing you from achieving your goals, providing a fresh perspective and solutions.

3 – Learn to Be Fully Present

Many coaches incorporate mindfulness techniques.  A significant benefit of having a life coach is in enabling you to stay in the present moment and find joy in life’s simpler things, rather than only focusing on future goals.

4 – Improve Goal-Setting and Develop Action Plans

Another critical benefit of having a life coach is in how they can guide you through the goal-setting process, helping you understand your immediate and future wants and needs. They can also work with you to create a realistic plan to achieve your desired outcomes.

5 – Increase Your Productivity

Life coaches can help you establish routines and structures to make better use of your time, ultimately increasing your chances of consistently achieving your goals.  With so many things pulling on our attention and distracting us, the time with a coach can ensure you focus on how you make progress and achieve what you want.

6 – Enhance Self-Awareness

Developing self-awareness is crucial for personal growth and goal achievement. A life coach can help you uncover your thoughts, beliefs, strengths, weaknesses, and areas where you may be stuck, ensuring your goals are genuinely right for you.

7 – Provide Accountability

A further benefits of having a life coach is in the act of sharing your goals with them since this significantly increases your likelihood of making progress, as they hold you accountable for taking action.

8 – Challenge Your Thinking, Assumptions, and Beliefs

A final benefit of having a life coach is that they can help you become more aware of limiting beliefs and thoughts that may be holding you back. They can assist you in challenging and reframing these thoughts to promote progress.

Benefits of Having a Life Coach – Conclusion

Now that you understand the benefits of having a life coach, remember that people employ life coaches for various reasons, including better mental health, enhanced personal development, overcoming a challenging phase of life and even deciding one’s direction in life.

When finding the right coach for you, consider essential factors such as their coaching style and qualifications as well as how you connect with them as a human being. Engaging with a life coach could be the beginning of a journey towards self-growth, personal development, and increased happiness and fulfilment.
